General Questions

Who are KandA-Gadgets?

KandA-Gadgets specialise in the sale of quality used mobile phones, tablets, iPads and more. The products we sell are fully tested, restored and reset ready for their new home. 

What are your working hours?

We are always open for purchases online 24/7. Our office working times are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. If you need to contact us simply send us an email and you can expect a reply between these hours, but a lot of the time we do respond outside of working hours where possible.

Can I see pictures of the item?

Unfortunately due to the number of phones and devices we stock, it is not possible to photograph every single one. We are very thorough in our grading process though and describe this accurately on our gradings page. If you receive your item though, and it is not what you were expecting, we don offer a 30 day returns period.

Product Questions

Can I use any SIM card in my item?

We sell a mixture of Unlocked and Network locked items. Any SIM card can be used in an unlocked item, and only the specific network SIM card, which the device is locked to can be used in a network locked item. The network will always be displayed in the title of the product if the item is locked. 

What are the cosmetic conditions of your products?

This item has been fully tested and quality checked, cleaned, restored and factory reset its original settings. Our testing process includes things such as the battery, call test, camera, buttons, screen and much more to ensure you are receiving a quality device. This item is sold without its original box or any accessories and comes with a 6 Month warranty.


These items are brand new, sealed and unused and comes with all accessories as supplied by the manufacturer and full manufacturer warranty. Although these items are Brand New, they’re still at a bargain price. You’re getting a great deal at a bargain price!

This is a product in exceptional condition showing no cosmetic signs of use, it has been fully tested and is in excellent working order. You’re getting an excellent device at a great price!

This is a product in very good cosmetic condition and although there might be some minor signs of use, this item has been fully tested and is in excellent working order. You’re getting a great device at an even better price!

This product will show moderate signs of wear and tear, but has been fully tested, restored to factory settings and is in great working order. You’re getting a great device at a great value price!

This means the device will heavy signs of cosmetic use, including heavy scratches, scrapes, dents, slight chips etc. Despite these cosmetic markings the item has been fully tested and will function exactly as intended by the manufacturer.

Can I unlock my item?

You can unlock an item that is locked to a specific network, yes. We would recommend using a factory unlock service though, as unlocking via illicit methods, such as rooting or jailbreaking will invalidate any warranties.

What will my purchase come with?

The items sold on our website are sold without any accessories. We buy our stock without accessories and sell these straight on. We have found we can not buy chargers and accessories at a reasonable enough cost, and by keeping costs low we can pass on this saving to you. We also find that 90% of people have their accesories from an old phone or device that will fit the one they are purchasing.

Will it arrive in a box?

Your phone or iPod order will be packagked securely in bubble pouches and bags, providing plenty of cushioning and protection whilst in transit. iPad's or tablets are sent in bubble wrap and an A4 postal box, but devices do not come with their original boxes.

Do your products come with warranty?

Yes, our products all come with a 6 month warranty period which covers hardware or software defects. The warranty excludes liquid or accidental damage, cracked screens, battery (as this is a consumable and will degrade over time), and also third party repairs. Rooting, jailbreaking or any other software modification will also void warranty. Please see our terms and conditions page for more details.

I want to return my order. What do I do?

We understand that sometimes people change their minds about an order, and that's fine. We offer a 30 day returns period on all purchases. To return your item, just fill in the return slip included in the package and return it in the same condition using the included free returns label. Make sure you factory reset your device from the settings menu and remove any iCloud, Samsung, or Android locks as this will delay the process.

Postage Questions

How do you send your orders?

We send all orders via Royal Mail within the UK.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

We dispatch all orders received by 12pm Monday-Friday the same day via Royal Mail Tracked 24 or 48. This should arrive within 1-3 days depending on which options is selected. Royal Mail Special Delivery is available at checkout. This means your order will arrive by 1pm the day after dispatch.

How much is delivery?

We offer a free postage service with Royal Mail Tracked 48, which should arrive with 3 days. We also offer Royal Mail Tracked 24 and Royal Mail Special Delivery, these cost £4.99 and £8.99 respectively and should arrive the next day after dispatch.

Can I track my order?

Yes, the postal service we use is fully tracked and we supply you with the tracking information when your order is dispatched, which you can track at Royal Mails track and trace website.

I haven't received my order, what do I do?

If you haven't reveived your order after a few days, firstly check the tracking information at Royal Mails website for your parcels status. Sometimes items are left with a neighbour or if you're out a card will be left for you to rearrange delivery.  You can contact us for any assistance you may need though and we will help.

Do you deliver on public holidays?

No. We don't work on Bank holdays or Easter, Christmas, New Year etc. Also as we use Royal Mail we are bound by their collection and delivery times. Orders we receive within holidays will be dispatched when we return.

Return Questions

What is your returns policy?

We have a 30 day returns policy on all purchases. If you change your mind with this time or if your purchase develops a fault, you can return it to us for a full refund or replacement. View our full return policy here

I've returned my order, how long does a refund or replacement take?

We will process your return as soon as it arrives and if a refund was requested we will action this. Refunds will be returned to your orignal method of payment and can take up to 5 working days, depending on how you paid. If you requested a replacement, this will be sent the next working day, subject to availibility. We will contact you to let you know.
